Georgie Glen is a British actress who has appeared in both serious and comic roles in cinema and television. She was born in Helensburgh, Argyll and Bute, Scotland, on April 20, 1956. Among her most prominent roles is Miss Higgins in the BBC One historical drama series, “Call the Midwife”, which she has played since 2018, and Audrey McFall in the BBC One school-based drama series Waterloo Road, which she has played since 2012.

Glen also appeared as Mother Abbess in the BBC One drama series Les Miserable; in 2012, she played Madame Baptiste in the film Les Miserable.
